The Summer Theatre Academy is excited to announce TWO productions for 2008: Lynn Ahrens and Stephan Flaherty's musical "Seussical" at Placer High School and Tom Stoppard's comedy "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead" at Del Oro High School. Students will strength character development, vocal quality, ease of movement on stage and will become more aware of positive group dynamics. The Academy will culminate in full-scale productions the later part of July. Audition Dates:  May 13 - Del Oro High - 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. May 15 - Colfax High - 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. May 20-21 - Placer High - 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Call Backs: May 22 - Placer High - 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Auditions will be held at the three campuses, but you will only need to come one of the days at any campus. Some students may be asked to return for "Call Backs" on May 22. Audition Details:  Come prepared with a 1-minute memorized monologue. Come prepared with a 1-minute portion of a song. (The song should not be from the show and is only required for those auditioning for Seussical) Come prepared to learn a short dance.
